How did you get started? After taking a few half decent shots from the crowd, I decided to buy an DSLR and give it a bash, I was shooting friends bands at first but as I started to feel more comfortable, I looked around for some online publications to join if I was good enough, after a few false starts and short lived tenures, I found my place at the website who I currently contribute to since 2009.
What’s in the bag? Nikon D3, Nikon 24-70mm 2.8, Nikon 70-200mm 2.8
Which photographers do you admire? Ross Halfin, Bob Carlos Clarke, Harry Benson, Jim Marshall
Your top 3 tips for music photographers? Get yourself some serious fixed aperture glass, be courteous in the pit to other togs and mind them elbows in the pit when shooting portraits, be prepared to write reviews as it will help in getting you photo passes.
My favourite shot is? One of Till Lindemann of Rammstein pulling a face, sticking his tongue out and using his fingers as horns on his head, it makes me laugh still.
